I promised. Here’s that promise.
My writing Goals for the year 2024
1.Build a Spoken Word Channel
This will help me master the spoken word art and make me better in performance poetry.
2. Write a Poetry Collection
It will have 40 to 60 poems. The goal is to write poems with the intent or good enough to enter into the collection. Before I publish the book I will send this poems to literary Magazines. Well that part of literary magazines accepting them is not in my control.
3. Write a Short Story Collection
A short story collection has an average of 12 stories. I will write these stories but in essence hone in on my skills to write short stories.
4. Write Personal Essay Collection
I am doing this to get better with the nonfiction form and to share my memories and stories.
5. Write 100 Flash Fiction and Microfiction Stories
There are so many ways this could go but this is the simplest version.
The goals will change over time and this is not the order at which I will approach them. This is more of a rough draft for the goals. Before December 31, It will become clear.

I want to reach out to literary editors of magazines to ask questions for a podcast episode.
