Is literature dying?
I use to think literature was only big elite books from authors I barely knew.
But with I time I understand that literature involves beyond the three branch of writing
- Prose
- Poetry
- Play.
It is a work of art that changed our perspective. That made us see the world differently.
While with Ai out there and all the things happening we start asking what is the use of writing.
When it seems are hard we should go back to the drawing board and ask a couple of questions.
- Why do I write in the first place?
- What do I seek to do when I write?
- What’s the use of literature?
- What exactly is literature?
- Does literature have any use?
There are so many other questions that if you pick one of these questions it will lead to a chain reaction of questions.
When we look at these questions and try to answer objectively and subjectively. And know the questions we need an objective answer and the ones we need a subjective answer.
When I was scared that literature will dissapear. I remember that literature is for mankind and as far as I see it, Mankind will always be there.
Things will change overtime and there’s a need for your story. That story only you can share. The piece of art only us can create.
